Brooks is the largest timber distributor and the third largest builders merchant in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Brooks has been an institution in the Irish construction industry since its inception in the late 1700’s to today.

Brooks business is the distribution of timber products and building materials to house builders and contractors, joinery and furniture manufacturers, other builder merchants, subcontractors, house factories, and end-users (DIY) through outlets open to public, as well as through direct-to-site delivery. Brooks product offering consists of six main product groups: Timber & wood products, flooring, heavy building materials, ironmongery, plumbing & heating and tool hire.

Brooks conducts its operations through a broad network of outlets throughout Ireland. Brooks has branch locations throughout Ireland with 11 based in the Republic and 2 in Northern Ireland.

Brooks is part of the BHT Group, the company also responsible for Heat Merchants and Tubs and Tiles. BHT Group has almost 80 outlets nationwide with approximately 600 employees.

Brooks and BHT are growing by using their instinctive customer-focused approach and huge pool of expertise and experience. It is the aim of Brooks to become market leader in each region it serves, while maintaining its leading position as the number one Irish timber and wood products distributor. Brooks now operates through a network of 13 branches throughout the country.
